  10.        This document describes the features of Release 6.5 of the
  11.        Trusted Irix/CMW (Trix) software option for IRIX.
  12.  
  13.        Trusted IRIX/CMW is a "third generation" system which adds
  14.        features to meet the requirements for Compartmented Mode
  15.        Workstations (CMW) to the base B1 environment.  Trusted
  16.        IRIX/CMW ("trix" for short) is a version of the IRIX
  17.        operating system that has been modified to meet the
  18.        requirements of the U.S. Department of Defense Trusted
  19.        Computer System Evaluation Criteria (the "orange book"
  20.        because it's cover is orange) for systems at the B1 level.
  21.        Trix has a number of enhancements, some of which have been
  22.        incorporated into the standard commercial versions of IRIX.
  23.        The Trix option includes Mandatory Access Control, TSIX
  24.        network session management, and strict separation of process
  25.        privilege.

  28.               contains the Software License Agreement.  This
  29.               software is provided to you solely under the terms
  30.               and conditions of the Software License Agreement.

  90.        After you install the online documentation for a product
  91.        (the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s subsystem), you can view the release notes on
  92.        your screen.

  94.        If you have a graphics system, select ``Release Notes'' from
  95.        the Tools submenu of the Toolchest. This displays the
  96.        _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) graphical browser for the online release notes.

  98.        Refer to the _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for information on
  99.        options to this command.

  101.        If you do not have a graphics system, you can use the
  102.        _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s command.  Refer to the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for
  103.        accessing the online release notes.

  106.               products before installing the software.  Refer to
  107.               the booklet in your CD-ROM case for more information.
